Ingredients
- butter
- ½ cups (1 stick)
- confectioners' sugar
- 4½ cups
- heavy cream (fresh)
- 1 tbsp
- vanilla extract
- 1 tsp
- mashed strawberries
- 2/3 cups (about 5 oz)
Instructions
- Whip butter until smooth and fluffy.
- Sift and add confectioners’ sugar and continue beating until well-combined. Beat at higher speeds for longer periods for a lighter frosting.
- Add heavy cream, and vanilla extract and blend well.
- Add mashed strawberries and blend well.
